Dr Abdul Hasan was born in Dinajpur, Bangladesh in 1942. He received his MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College and served as a physician in his early years in Bangladesh and Pakistan. In 1970, he relocated to London, England where he completed part of his fellowship and began his work as a General Practitioner and part time Orthopedics specialist at a local hospital.
After living for many years in England, Dr Hasan felt a strong desire to give back to the people in the village where he spent most of his childhood. After speaking to his siblings about his dream, the family generously donated a part of their land and the Mofizuddin Mazada Medical Center was born.
Today, Dr Hasan devotes all his free time to the organization and dreams of developing the center into a full-fledged hospital in the near future, providing free medical services to the local community.
